My ideal place...

       I'd like to tell you about my second home town!!! When I'm there, I feel myself relaxed, in seventh heaven. Krakow... one of the Europe's most beautiful and historical cities, with its elegant Old Town and medieval market square, its vibrant old Jewish Quarter, where you’ll find cathedrals and castles, dragons and dungeons.
      I decided, it will be better, if I show you it in pictures. It's more interesting and exciting... Hope in the end you will like the city as much as I..

It was my first visit, and maybe then I fell in love with this city...

     Krakow’s Main Market Square (Stary Rynek in polish)  is the largest one in Europe. The centre of the square is dominated by the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice). When the weather is good, there are different bars and restaurants  which provide extensive outdoor seating and opportunities to have a nice rest or simply admire the architecture.

The most famous church in Krakow, one of the symbols of this city is St Mary's Church. But to my mind, it doesn't sound in the way it has in polish Mariacki Kosciol. This impressive church has its own legend... I'll tell you it the other time ;)  Also every hour from the highest tower the Fireman plays heynal. You ask me WHY? Because it's a signal that reminds people an alarm before Mongol attack on Krakow in 13th century.

Mariacki Square is much calmer and with less people than Market Square. With nice fountain in the middle... you can sit on the bench and just look at people in a hurry.

Wawel ...  the castle on the mound with its palace and cathedral. This impressive gothic building  is worth spending your time there. Both the bell tower and crypt are well worth visiting.  It is home to most of Poland’s great kings and historic figures as well as President Lech Kaczynski, who tragically died in a plane crash in 2010

I'd like to tell you about Poland’s iconic symbols, Sigismund Bell. As the largest bell in Poland it is so substantial that it takes 12 people to ring it. Also legend tells us that you should touch your right hand to your heart and left hand to the bell, any wish you make will come true... Firstly I didn't believe, but my unreal dream came true in a year... 

 There are a lot of things which I've missed. Because it's so hard to write down all your emotions, mentions, which you have on mind and want to share with others...
